Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of maintenance experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and own transportation required (only applicable to New Orleans)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on company needs
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
- Must be fluent in English language
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 40 pounds
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members
Job Qualifications
- 1-3 years of maintenance experience preferred
- Customer centric with a warm demeanor, positive attitude, and impeccable follow through
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Ability to plan and prioritize efficiently and motivate or lead team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and complete multiple tasks with simultaneous deadlines and interruptions
- Maintain an organized filing system and office areas
- Valid driver's license and own transportation required (only applicable to New Orleans)
- Knowledge of the city and local transportation options including public and private transit
- Must be fluent in English language
- Basic knowledge of technology including smartphones and computers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Job Duties
- Ensure our property looks exceptional at all times
- Ensure timely trash pickup and maintain cleanliness inside and outside the property
- Follow safety programs and policies to maintain a safe environment
- Regularly walk the property to identify and address hazards and concerns
- Communicate with maintenance teams about necessary repairs and with residents about concerns, events, and notices
- Assist with operational needs and manage multiple resident services and facility requests efficiently
- Complete unit-turns for vacated apartments to prepare units for new residents
- Assist in setting up and taking down resident events
- Proactively solve problems beyond immediate responsibilities
- Seek leadership opportunities to support company objectives
