This job opportunity is for a full-time Porter position located at the Delta Sky Club in Salt Lake City, UT. The role offers a competitive fixed pay rate of $18.00 per hour and requires open availability including weekends, with details on the schedule provided during the interview process. This position involves maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation standards of the front of the house within the dining area. Porters play a crucial role in supporting a smooth and efficient flow of service by ensuring that tables, counters, floors, windows, and beverage stations are clean and well-maintained throughout peak and non-peak hours.

The Porter is responsible for bussing and clearing tables, sweeping floors, washing dishes and utensils, and cleaning equipment to uphold hygiene and safety standards as per the company’s operational guidelines. This role requires adherence to strict sanitation protocols, including HACCP standards, and involves the safe handling of equipment and foodservice items. Routine tasks include scraping and rinsing food from dishes, managing dishwashing processes, and maintaining cleanliness in the serving areas. The position also includes assisting with receiving and transporting deliveries from the dock to storage while following safe lifting procedures.

Candidates with prior experience in stocking and porter duties are preferred, as the job demands efficiency and reliability in a fast-paced environment. The company emphasizes personal commitment to safety, requiring the use of protective gear such as cut-resistant gloves when handling sharp tools and oven mitts when dealing with hot equipment. Slip-resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques are mandatory to prevent workplace injuries.
