Job Description

Core Spaces (Core) is a leading real estate investment manager that prioritizes people and relationships just as much as building innovative properties. Founded in 2010, Core is dedicated to inventing the future of living through a unique approach that combines collaboration, innovation, and a resident-focused culture. The company is vertically integrated and specializes in acquiring, developing, and managing real estate within the student housing and build-to-rent (BTR) sectors. Core's portfolio includes over 74,440 beds in student housing under ownership or management and an additional 53,860 beds in development stages. Their BTR division features over 3,000 homes currently being developed or leased in high-growth metropolitan areas across the United States. Core's communities are known for their progressive design, world-class amenities, and hospitality-driven service that redefines the way people live.

The company culture is built around six core values: PUSH (Invent Better Places to Live), GRIT (We Got This), LIFT (Help Each Other Win), SHINE (Bring Your Full Self), UPHOLD (Never Break Trust), and GROW (Always Get Better). These values guide every aspect of what Core does, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences to residents and employees alike.

The Porter position at Core is an essential on-site role focused on maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of the property grounds. As a Porter, you will be responsible for groundskeeping duties including trash removal, landscaping maintenance, cleaning of amenity areas such as swimming pools, and general upkeep tasks like mopping and vacuuming. This full-time role requires working on-site in compliance with the property’s schedule and involves flexibility for evenings, weekends, and overtime as necessary. The ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds regularly is required due to the physical demands of the job.

Core values employees who bring their full selves to work and provides an inclusive environment where everyone has a voice. This position reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented, dependable, and enthusiastic about contributing to a supportive team environment. Core offers a competitive hourly wage of $22.00 and a comprehensive benefits package that emphasizes health, wellness, and work-life balance, including paid time off, health insurance, and a generous employee housing discount. The company is an Equal Opportunity Employer, celebrating diversity and fostering equity throughout the workplace.
