We are seeking a dedicated Porter to join our team. This essential role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of designated areas throughout the day, ensuring operational efficiency and a polished atmosphere. The Porter will take pride in practicing clean-as-you-go procedures, contributing to the overall guest experience by keeping public, banquet, and work areas spotless. This role involves completing final breakdowns after events, closing duties for the day, and supporting multiple departments as needed.

The ideal candidate will be attentive to detail, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities include setting up and stocking work areas, monitoring sanitation standards, handling linen logistics, and assisting with various tasks to maintain smooth operation. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks
flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
good teamwork and communication skills
prior experience in a similar role preferred
ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
reliable and punctual

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
previous experience in hospitality or janitorial work preferred
ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
strong attention to detail
good physical stamina and ability to handle manual tasks
strong communication skills
basic understanding of sanitation and safety protocols

Job Duties

Maintains cleanliness of public, banquet, and work areas throughout the day
completes final breakdown of function by cleaning the room and returning equipment
completes closing duties including storing reusable goods and locking doors
sets up, stocks, and maintains work areas
monitors and maintains cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas
transports dirty linen to cleaning areas, separates napkins from tablecloths, restocks linen shelves
assists other departments to ensure optimum guest service
