The Porter position at Avenue5 Residential offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the meticulous upkeep and maintenance of premium residential communities. This role demands a dedicated individual to ensure that the grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing offices, tour paths, parking lots, and other property areas remain immaculate with an emphasis on maximizing the property's marketing appeal and enhancing resident satisfaction. As a Porter, you will be on the front lines of property care, tasked with daily responsibilities such as trash removal, pressure washing, preparing market-ready units, addressing inclement weather emergencies including snow removal, maintaining cleanliness of available apartments and common areas, and reporting maintenance or safety issues promptly.

Job Duties

  • Remove trash and other debris from office areas and property perimeter on a daily basis
  • Assist in the preparation of market ready units
  • Pressure wash exterior buildings, sidewalks, etc.
  • Assist with property emergencies, such as snow removal and/or other inclement weather emergencies, fires, and floods
  • Clean available apartments and/or model homes and common areas of the community, as directed
  • Address property maintenance concerns related to inclement weather conditions
  • Promote customer satisfaction by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and curb appeal, and interact courteously and professionally with current and potential residents always
  • Preserve and respect applicant and resident confidentiality
  • Foster a positive, active and collaborative relationship with residents, other properties and associated agencies
  • Clearly and immediately report any maintenance and/or life safety issues identified while performing regular assigned duties
  • Other duties as assigned
