Job Requirements
- Ability to perform continuous manual labor during an 8-hour shift
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently up to 25 pounds occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend twist reach stretch balance grasp climb stairs and ladders and walk for extended periods
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required
- Ability to speak read write and understand English sufficiently to follow safety instructions and job-related communications
- Basic communication and math skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced busy environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Professional friendly and team-oriented attitude
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills may be required for certain assignments
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in janitorial or porter roles preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Familiarity with OSHA safety guidelines
- Ability to operate and maintain cleaning equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- Good physical stamina and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Duties
- Clean and maintain all common areas including lobbies hallways stairwells restrooms offices dining areas and corridors
- Sweep vacuum mop dust and polish floors furniture walls windows fixtures and vents
- Clean and disinfect kitchens bathrooms and high-touch surfaces
- Empty clean and sanitize trash and recycling receptacles
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as vacuums buffers polishers and other janitorial tools
- Maintain cleaning carts supplies and equipment report low inventory to the supervisor
- Report maintenance issues promptly such as leaks broken fixtures damaged flooring or windows
- Assist with special projects errands and light grounds maintenance as requested
- Support other properties or assist in emergency situations when needed
- Follow all company policies safety procedures and OSHA guidelines at all times
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or management
