The company is presently seeking a Porter to join its dedicated team. This role is pivotal in maintaining the pristine condition and curb appeal of Avenue5 Residential's properties, thereby enhancing the living experience of residents and the property's overall market appeal. The Porter will be responsible for the meticulous upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, the leasing office, tour paths, parking lots, and other areas of the assigned property. Core responsibilities will include trash removal, pressure washing exterior areas, assisting with the preparation of market-ready units, and addressing maintenance concerns, particularly those related to inclement weather. This role also requires responding to property emergencies such as snow removal, floods, and fires with promptness and efficiency. In doing so, the Porter contributes to the seamless operation of the property and supports the company's high standards for resident satisfaction.

This full-time position offers competitive compensation at $25 per hour and requires a high school diploma or equivalent. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent customer service abilities, and experience in maintaining cleanliness and curb appeal. Maintaining confidentiality, a professional appearance, and compliance with safety and uniform policies are also vital aspects of this role. Additionally, candidates must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean record and current auto insurance. - Required to complete and successfully pass the Avenue5 Fair Housing, Diversity and Inclusion Training within the first 30 days of employment
- Ability to shovel snow, apply ice melt and operate a commercial snow blower

Job Duties
- Remove trash and other debris from office areas and property perimeter on a daily basis
- Assist in the preparation of market ready units
- Pressure wash exterior buildings, sidewalks, etc
- Assist with property emergencies, such as snow removal and/or other inclement weather emergencies, fires, and floods
- Clean available apartments and/or model homes and common areas of the community, as directed
- Address property maintenance concerns related to inclement weather conditions
- Promote customer satisfaction by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and curb appeal, and interact courteously and professionally with current and potential residents always
