Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with maintenance tasks preferred
- Ability to understand and perform software functions
- Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws
- Basic knowledge of OSHA requirements
- Physical ability to lift and move objects over 100 pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and management
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills and ability to perform on-site software functions
- Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to follow safety protocols and promote safe work practices
- Capable of operating maintenance equipment and machinery
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and night hours for on-call emergencies
Job Duties
- Assist in carrying out maintenance processes including corrective, preventative, routine, and cosmetic maintenance
- Support the make-ready process consistent with property operational objectives
- Clean, remove trash, and maintain grounds, buildings, breezeways, and community common areas
- Respond promptly to resident and management requests and work orders
- Inspect property daily to identify and correct hazardous conditions or liability concerns
- Maintain a well-stocked maintenance shop adhering to safety and OSHA standards
- Participate in unit inspections and report violations of community rules
- Manage excellent customer service and enforce property policies
- Utilize property resources economically
- Participate in on-call emergency duties as needed
