Key duties of this role include moving vehicles as directed by management, cleaning both the interiors and exteriors of cars (including trunks and glove compartments), and maintaining overall lot appearance and safety by regularly policing dealership grounds. Additionally, the Lot Attendant/Porter must adhere to company policies including the use of approved uniforms and adherence to OSHA right-to-know training standards. Despite requiring no previous work experience, this position demands a high school diploma or equivalent, a current valid driver's license, and the ability to use personal computer applications. The Lot Attendant/Porter must be capable of lifting up to 40 pounds and working in noisy environments while being exposed to various materials commonly found in automotive repair settings such as battery acid and chemical cleaning agents.
