We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented team member to join our community in a custodial role. This position is essential for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the facility, supporting the comfort and well-being of our senior residents. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with the senior population, exhibit patience, and demonstrate a keen attention to detail. This role involves a variety of custodial and maintenance tasks that contribute directly to the quality of life within the community. The successful candidate will need to work thoughtfully and efficiently, balancing physical tasks with sensitivity to the needs of elderly residents.

The custodial team member will be responsible for a range of duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and cleaning windows in common areas, as well as managing resident laundry. Regular inspections of units, buildings, and shared spaces will be performed to identify necessary light repairs or janitorial support, ensuring that all locations meet the community’s high standards. Security measures, including locking storage areas and entrances and maintaining adequate lighting, are also critical aspects of this position. Candidates must be comfortable working in patient care areas and demonstrate a commitment to workplace safety and resident comfort.

This role demands physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks such as bending, squatting, climbing stairs, and lifting objects weighing up to 25 pounds occasionally.
