The Porter position at Avenue5 Residential is designed for a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about maintaining the visual appeal and operational integrity of residential properties. This role is integral to ensuring that the grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, parking lots, and other designated areas are meticulously kept to maximize the property's marketing appeal and enhance resident satisfaction. The Porter will work Tuesday through Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, earning between $20 to $22 per hour, and will be responsible for a variety of maintenance tasks aimed at upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and curb appeal.

Key responsibilities include removal of trash and debris from office and property areas, assisting in preparing units for market readiness, power washing exterior surfaces, and supporting emergency responses to weather-related incidents like snow removal. The Porter will also clean common areas and model homes, address maintenance concerns, foster positive resident relationships, and ensure confidentiality of resident and applicant information. This role requires excellent customer service skills, professional appearance, and the ability to efficiently report maintenance and safety issues. Additionally, the Porter must complete the company’s Fair Housing, Diversity, and Inclusion training within the first 30 days.
