Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards
- ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a porter, janitorial, or custodial role
- familiarity with safety regulations and proper handling of cleaning chemicals
- good communication skills to effectively report issues and coordinate with team members
- ability to operate floor care machines such as buffers or scrubbers
- flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays if required
Job Duties
- perform routine cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting floors and surfaces throughout the facility
- collect and dispose of trash and recycling materials in designated areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene
- assist with moving furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed to support various departments or events
- report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the appropriate personnel promptly
- ensure restrooms, hallways, and common areas are clean, stocked, and well-maintained at all times
- follow all safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to established guidelines
- support special projects or deep cleaning tasks as assigned by supervisors
