Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • ability to understand and perform onsite software functions
  • basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements
  • ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting 100+ lbs
  • ability to work in various weather conditions
  • ability to operate machinery and power tools
  • willingness to work overtime, weekends, and on-call hours
  • effective communication skills
  • capacity to follow safety guidelines and company policies

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • basic computer skills and ability to perform onsite software functions
  • knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • capable of performing physical tasks related to maintenance duties
  • customer service experience preferred
  • familiarity with safety standards and hazard prevention
  • basic mechanical skills

Job Duties

  • Community maintenance
  • regular/daily onsite attendance
  • responsible for cleaning, trash removal, and general maintenance of grounds, buildings, breezeways, and community common areas
  • respond to resident/management requests and work orders for common areas, buildings, and units promptly
  • ensure all repairs and replacements for grounds, buildings, breezeways, and community common areas are completed timely
  • inspect grounds, buildings, and community features daily to identify and correct hazardous conditions
  • assist in maintaining a preventative maintenance program
  • understand and follow Asset key policies
  • maintain a well-organized and stocked maintenance shop adhering to safety standards
  • assist Maintenance Supervisor with hazard communications program and safe work practices
  • participate in unit inspections as requested
  • report violations of community rules to supervisors
  • utilize property resources economically
  • perform additional tasks as requested by supervisors
  • participate in on-call emergency duties
  • manage excellent customer service and monitor service request responsiveness
  • project favorable community image
  • ensure consistency in dealing with residents
  • enforce delegated community policies
