Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirements
  • Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting 100+ lbs
  • Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions
  • Ability to operate machinery and power tools
  • Willingness to work overtime, nights, weekends as needed
  • Ability to traverse uneven terrain and confined spaces
  • Ability to follow safety standards and guidelines
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to respond promptly to resident and management requests

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills and ability to perform onsite software functions
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirements
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a safe work environment
  • Experience in maintenance or related field preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Community maintenance
  • Regular daily onsite attendance
  • Cleaning, trash removal, and general maintenance of grounds and residential areas
  • Respond to resident and management requests and work orders promptly
  • Ensure repairs and replacements for common areas and units
  • Daily exterior cleanup including grounds, breezeways, common areas
  • Perform swimming pool maintenance and maintain chemical logs
  • Inspect grounds and buildings daily to identify and correct hazards
  • Maintain a preventative maintenance program
  • Follow Asset Living key policies
  • Keep maintenance shop organized and stocked
  • Assist in hazard communication and promote safety
  • Participate in unit inspections
  • Report community rules violations
  • Use resources economically
  • Perform additional tasks as requested
  • Manage customer service and service request responsiveness
  • Project favorable community image
  • Ensure consistency in resident interactions
  • Enforce delegated community policies
