Job Description

Pritchard Companies, a respected leader in the equipment sales industry, operates the Worldwide Equipment Sales (WWE) division, which specializes in providing quality products and services to customers across various sectors. WWE's Michigan location is a central hub for the company's operations, showcasing a broad range of equipment and vehicles that require expert handling to maintain efficiency and customer satisfaction. With a commitment to professionalism, safety, and teamwork, Pritchard Companies fosters a workplace environment that values each employee's contribution towards achieving business goals while promoting personal growth and development. The company prides itself on its dedication to equal opportunity employment, ensuring a diverse and inclusive workplace where all employees can thrive.

The Porter position at Worldwide Equipment Sales in Michigan is a key operational role designed for a dependable and motivated individual who enjoys hands-on work. This role not only supports daily operations but also ensures the lot remains organized and the equipment ready for customer use or transport. The Porter will work closely with the sales and operations teams, managing vehicle movement and equipment flow safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include staging vehicles for customer viewings and deliveries, assisting with basic inspections to ensure vehicles are clean, safe, and ready for use, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the facility. The ideal candidate will possess a valid driver's license, preferably a chauffeur's license or Commercial Driver's License (CDL), have the physical ability to handle demanding tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and working in varying weather conditions, and be reliable and punctual. Experience in a similar porter or lot attendant role is preferred but not mandatory.

This onsite position requires a proactive approach to safety and company procedures, along with excellent coordination skills to manage vehicle and equipment flow effectively. Pritchard Companies' commitment to safety, professionalism, and inclusivity creates a supportive atmosphere where the Porter can succeed and grow within the organization.
