At Gerber Collision & Glass, employees find the resources, support, and infrastructure needed to excel in the collision and glass services industry, making it a great place to build a long-term career.

The role of Porter at Gerber Collision & Glass is essential in maintaining the high standards of vehicle preparation and shop cleanliness, which complement the quality repair work performed by the technical teams. This position is responsible for preparing customer vehicles by pre-washing and performing both interior and exterior cleanups prior to delivery. Additionally, the Porter plays a critical role in upholding the cleanliness and organization of both the office and the production areas, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment for customers and staff alike. The work demands physical activity such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing and walking for extended periods, and occasional stooping or crouching. Gerber Collision & Glass provides an environment where attention to detail, customer service skills, and reliability are highly valued. The ideal candidate will have automotive experience and the ability to multitask efficiently in a dynamic setting.

Gerber Collision & Glass offers a comprehensive benefits package that supports employee wellness and work-life balance, including immediate eligibility for medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, paid parental leave, holiday pay, a 401(k) plan with company match, and more. Employees also enjoy added perks such as free prescription or non-prescription safety glasses, a voluntary daily pay option, and opportunities for continuing education. The company values integrity, inclusivity, and continuous improvement, making it committed not only to client satisfaction but also to the success and growth of its employees.
