The organization understands the importance of work-life balance and ensures employees receive great salary packages and comprehensive benefits that enhance their overall job satisfaction and quality of life.

This position of Porter is integral to ensuring that vehicle repairs are complemented with a clean and professional presentation of customer vehicles. The Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of both the customer vehicles and the shop and office facilities. This role not only involves pre-washing vehicles before repairs but also performing detailed exterior and interior cleaning once repairs have been completed, ensuring vehicles are delivered back to customers looking their best. In addition to vehicle cleaning, the Porter’s duties include maintaining cleanliness in both the production area and the office, organizing tools and equipment, and ensuring the parking lots and grounds are kept tidy and safe. Physical tasks such as shoveling sidewalks during winter conditions are also part of the role.

The Porter is an essential member of the service team who supports the smooth operation of the repair process and upholds The Boyd Group's WOW (Wow Operating Way) standards. This role requires a dedicated individual who can multitask effectively, demonstrate a positive attitude, and exhibit strong attention to detail. Ideal candidates will have some automotive experience, a valid driver's license, and be able to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 50 pounds, walking or standing for extended periods, and safely operating motor vehicles. The organization prioritizes safety and reliability, making this position suitable for individuals who are trustworthy and take pride in their work.

Employment for this Porter role is hourly paid, with a compensation range typically between $15.00 and $19.00 per hour. This pay scale is commensurate with the individual’s location, skills, education, and experience, reflecting The Boyd Group’s commitment to fair and competitive remuneration for its team members. Beyond pay, the company offers robust benefits designed to support employee well-being and professional growth, fostering a team-oriented environment where employees feel empowered to make decisions and control their own career future.

Joining The Boyd Group as a Porter presents the opportunity to become part of a reputable company that respects its workforce and values quality customer service. This role is perfect for individuals seeking a hands-on job within an automotive environment, who appreciate being part of a cooperative team, and are eager to contribute to customer satisfaction through meticulous vehicle care and facility maintenance. The company also assures that it does not use artificial intelligence or automated tools in its hiring process, emphasizing a human-centered approach to recruitment and employee selection.
