We are currently seeking a self-motivated Porter to join our service team. This is a critical role responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the entire community exterior, including amenities, common areas, parking lots, and landscaping. The Porter will perform duties that ensure the property presents at its best at all times, contributing directly to resident satisfaction and the overall reputation of the community. As part of the service team, the Porter will work outdoors in various weather conditions, requiring a high level of dedication and reliability.

The role involves daily walking of all grounds, picking up trash, managing dumpsters and trash compactors, cleaning pet parks, and overseeing power washing and preventative maintenance projects. In addition to manual labor tasks, the Porter will monitor landscaping and irrigation systems, report maintenance needs, and assist in make-ready processes for vacated apartments. Basic maintenance such as cleaning clubs, arranging furniture, and maintaining pool chemical levels under a pool operator's certificate are included in the responsibilities. The position demands adherence to safety standards and excellent customer service skills, ensuring that all interactions with residents and team members are positive and helpful.

Candidates must hold a valid Driver's License and pass pre-employment background and drug screenings as per state and local laws. A high school diploma or GED is required, and previous experience in janitorial, groundskeeping, or similar porter positions is preferred.
