The role of a Porter at FreezPak Logistics is integral to sustaining the companys commitment to an immaculate, safe, and well-organized warehouse environment. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, reporting directly to the Operations Manager. As a Warehouse Porter/Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness through regular and thorough cleaning and sanitization protocols. Your duties will cover sweeping, mopping, dusting, disinfecting, waste management, and inventory maintenance of cleaning supplies. You will also assist in identifying maintenance needs and ensuring that safety standards are rigorously observed while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and physical ability to perform tasks involving lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in warehouse cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred
- Certification in warehouse cleaning or related field is advantageous
- Ability to work in cold storage environments as low as -10°F
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift as required for job duties
- Ability to follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals safely
- Physical ability to perform repetitive physical tasks
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong attention to detail
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in warehouse cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification in warehouse cleaning or related field is advantageous

- Ability to work independently, follow safety protocols, and prioritize tasks effectively

- Strong communication skills to report issues and coordinate with warehouse staff
Job Duties
- Execute regular cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing to maintain cleanliness throughout the warehouse facility
- Adhere to strict guidelines for disinfecting surfaces, equipment, and high-traffic areas to uphold hygiene standards
- Manage proper disposal of waste, including recyclables and hazardous materials, following safety protocols and company regulations
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies, ensuring an adequate supply is always maintained
- Identify and report maintenance issues, damage, or equipment malfunctions promptly to the appropriate personnel
- Follow safety procedures while handling cleaning chemicals and operating cleaning equipment to maintain a safe working environment
- Assist in additional tasks as required and collaborate with other warehouse team members during busy periods or special projects
