The Warehouse Porter role at FreezPak is critical to maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the warehouse environment. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 2:30 PM and reports directly to the Operations Manager. As a nonexempt role, it offers a competitive pay rate ranging from $16 to $18 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications. The Warehouse Porter ensures that the facility consistently meets hygiene standards by executing comprehensive cleaning and maintenance tasks. This role demands a detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and physical capability to perform duties in a cold storage environment, sometimes as low as -10°F. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing surfaces and equipment, managing waste disposal, restocking cleaning supplies, supporting maintenance needs, and adhering to safety protocols. In addition to regular cleaning operations, the Porter assists in special projects and collaborates with warehouse staff during busy periods, making this a dynamic and varied role within the company.
