The full-time RV Sales Lot Porter role at Seattle Airstream Adventures offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy staying busy, multi-tasking, and working in an active, hands-on environment. Offering a competitive hourly wage between $20 and $24 (depending on experience), this position operates on a Tuesday through Saturday schedule from 8am to 5pm, creating an excellent work-life balance. The Sales Lot Porter is responsible for maintaining the dealership’s high standards by preparing and maintaining the recreational vehicles on the lot for delivery, guest visits, and new inventory arrival. This includes washing, cleaning, detailing, steam cleaning interiors, wax application, polishing, inspecting units thoroughly for damage or issues, and ensuring all equipment and tools are functioning properly. The role also requires strong interpersonal skills for greeting and assisting guests and coordinating with team members to deliver excellent service.

Job Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • 18 years or older
  • Valid driver's license
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Ability to work Tuesday through Saturday, 8am to 5pm
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods
  • Must be a team player with good communication skills
  • Willingness to occasionally work off site at shows
  • Commitment to a drug free workplace

Job Duties

  • Greet and assist Guests dropping off vehicles for repairs
  • Prep units for delivery and recondition pre-owned units
  • Check in and wash Guest units and new units from the factory
  • Clean the interior of recreational units, including steam cleaning carpets, dusting, cleaning windows, kitchens and bathrooms
  • Wash the exterior of units
  • Clean, wax, polish, prep and refurbish new and used units
  • Inspect all units thoroughly
  • Maintain our dealership's standard of excellence in quality and service
  • Maintain the proper function of all tools and equipment
  • Report any damage to the supervising manager
  • Coordinate work with team members
  • Facility janitorial duties
  • Occasionally work off site at shows
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Maintain internal and external appearance and cleanliness of the store, showroom and lot
  • Spot the forklift operator
  • Fill in on forklift as necessary
  • Run miscellaneous errands for the store
