Asset Living manages a diverse portfolio that includes multifamily housing, single-family home rentals, affordable housing, build-to-rent communities, active adult living, and student housing across the United States. This wide range of property types showcases the company’s adaptability and comprehensive expertise in the housing market. The company's foundation is built on a passion for building thriving communities and providing exceptional value to its partners, which is evident through its consistent organic growth and the strong relationships it has cultivated with property owners and residents nationwide.

The role of the Porter at Asset Living is an integral part of its maintenance team, focusing on supporting the upkeep and maintenance processes of the property. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage of $20.00 and provides a beneficial total rewards package that includes medical, dental, vision, life, accidental, and disability insurance coverage. Additional perks comprise a 401K plan with employer matching and opportunities for commission and performance bonuses. Full-time employees also enjoy paid sick days and company holidays, reinforcing Asset Living’s commitment to employee well-being and work-life balance.

A Porter at Asset Living is tasked with various responsibilities that ensure the property remains safe, clean, and inviting for residents and visitors. Their work spans corrective, preventative, routine, and cosmetic maintenance under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. The position demands a hands-on approach to maintaining community grounds, buildings, and common areas with diligence and promptness. Regular daily attendance at the site is essential, as is the ability to respond swiftly to work orders and requests from residents and management. The Porter also plays a crucial role in identifying and addressing potential hazards to prevent accidents and maintain compliance with safety standards.

Beyond technical duties, the role involves fostering positive customer and resident relations. Excelling in this position requires exemplary customer service skills, consistency in policy enforcement, and the ability to project a positive image of the community. Porters also support the maintenance shop by keeping it well-stocked and organized and promoting safe work practices aligned with OSHA standards. The job involves physical activity and the ability to operate maintenance equipment, perform inspections, and participate in emergency on-call duties when needed. Asset Living values candidates who are proactive, attentive to detail, and dedicated to contributing to a vibrant and well-managed living environment.
