The Porter position is a critical role within our property management operation. The Porter will be responsible for the upkeep of all common areas, apartments before move-in, and the surrounding property grounds. Key responsibilities include ensuring a clutter-free environment, well-maintained landscaping, and supporting apartment turnover processes. This role requires a hands-on approach to daily maintenance tasks and the ability to notice and report areas that need repairs or additional attention. The ideal candidate has a strong customer service orientation, physical stamina, and experience with tools and manual labor. As part of the job, the Porter will also engage in training and adhere to all company policies and safety procedures, ensuring a secure working environment for everyone on the property.

The Porter works closely with Property and Service Managers, contributing directly to resident satisfaction by making sure that all community areas and units meet or exceed cleanliness expectations. This position plays a foundational role in sustaining the property's curb appeal, safety standards, and operational smoothness. Average working hours extend up to eight hours daily, requiring physical activity such as lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, standing, and performing repetitive tasks in varied weather conditions.
