This job opportunity is with a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. It is important to note that this establishment operates independently from the Culver Franchising System, Inc. and therefore manages its own employment policies, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling decisions. The franchisee is solely responsible for all aspects of the employment process, and Culver Franchising System, Inc. does not have control over these operational elements, nor will it receive any applications or be involved in interview or hiring decisions.
The restaurant values high standards of maintenance both inside and outside its premises to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests and staff. The role focuses on maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency of the restaurant with timely, accurate completion of assigned maintenance tasks. This includes routine sanitation, building upkeep, and food safety practices, as well as ensuring the restaurant is properly set up for opening and ready for service during busy hours. The position involves collaboration with other team members to align efforts and maintain operational flow.
The role requires a keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills to follow company safety standards, complete daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance jobs accurately, and uphold the restaurant's exterior appearance by managing landscaping and snow removal. The person in this position will also handle food inventory, including proper rotation of stock and monitoring shelf life, take temperatures of food deliveries for quality control, and maintain basic operational knowledge of restaurant equipment with scheduled maintenance. This proactive approach is critical to minimizing downtime during lunch shifts and keeping the restaurant running smoothly.
Physical demands are notable, encompassing frequent standing, walking, and handling tasks, as well as the ability to lift and carry various weights safely. Candidates must be willing to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, sometimes under challenging conditions such as hot, cold, or damp settings.
