Alliance Redwoods is a distinguished year-round Christian Camp and Conference Center situated in the majestic California Redwoods. Spanning over 115 acres, the center offers an exceptional outdoor classroom setting where students and visitors alike can immerse themselves in nature while engaging in meaningful learning experiences. With a welcoming atmosphere, Alliance Redwoods caters to over 55,000 guests annually, providing them with a unique blend of spiritual growth, recreation, and education. Currently, Alliance Redwoods is seeking a dedicated Porter in its Food Services department. This part-time position plays a pivotal role in maintaining the food service area by ensuring cleanliness, sanitation, and an overall pleasant dining environment. Offering compensation of $18.00 per hour, this role requires a dependable individual who can support the kitchen team with their daily operations. As a vital member of the team, the Porter will focus on washing dishes, cleaning kitchen equipment, maintaining hygiene standards, and helping to foster a collaborative and service-oriented work environment. The position demands a strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere. Job Duties

Maintain kitchen cleanliness by washing dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans in a timely manner
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, and prep tables
Follow proper food handling practices to prevent cross-contamination and maintain sanitary conditions in the kitchen
Empty and dispose of all waste properly
Sweep and mop kitchen floors, as well as maintain a clean and safe working environment
Assist kitchen team with various tasks, such as cleaning and organizing storage areas and other duties as assigned
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the kitchen manager immediately
Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment
