We pride ourselves on fostering a professional and customer-focused environment where employees have the opportunity to grow and develop their skills in the automotive industry. As a company, we emphasize quality service, teamwork, and continuous learning, making us a preferred destination for customers seeking trustworthy vehicle care as well as for individuals pursuing careers in automotive service.

We are currently seeking a motivated and energetic Service Porter to join our team. The Service Porter serves a crucial role within our customer service framework, acting as one of the first and last points of contact for customers. This position is vital in shaping the overall customer experience by ensuring a positive, welcoming interaction. Key responsibilities include frequently interacting with customers, demonstrating competent driving skills with manual transmission vehicles, and maintaining high production and quality standards. The Service Porter will also be responsible for washing, fueling, parking, road testing, and staging customer vehicles in the service department for repairs or maintenance.

Attention to detail and maintaining a clean and organized service area are critical components of the job. This includes sweeping, mopping, and utilizing equipment such as floor scrubbers. Additionally, the position requires the removal of trash, parts, and debris from designated areas, sometimes involving moving objects up to 45 pounds. The Service Porter may also be tasked with using company parts vans to collect or retrieve parts from local or out-of-area dealers to help expedite customer repairs. The work environment is a combination of well-lit, ventilated service bays and exposure to outdoor elements such as sun, breezy conditions, and various odors. Physical requirements are significant, including standing, bending, walking, climbing stairs, and precise visual and auditory functions, all essential for effective communication and safety.

The ideal candidate will show enthusiasm for working with people across all age groups, adeptness in driving both manual and automatic transmission vehicles, and strong communication abilities across various organizational levels. They must also demonstrate tactfulness in dealing with personnel, customers, and vendors, along with flexibility to work beyond regular hours and in different roles when necessary. Time management skills and the ability to operate with a sense of urgency will be critical to success.
