- ability to follow cleaning schedules and safety protocols
- knowledge of OSHA regulations regarding chemical handling
- attention to detail and reliability
- good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties

Job Duties
- perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor
- ensure that work and cleaning schedules are followed as closely as practical
- conduct routine cleaning of resident rooms such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, emptying trash baskets
- scour and polish all bathroom apparatus
- clean, sanitize, dust, and vacuum all areas of the community daily
- assume responsibility for personal safety and environmental safety
- handle and store all cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA regulations
- keep utility and storage areas in good order and clean
- ensure that equipment is cleaned and properly stored at the end of the shift
