Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years cleaning, housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience
  • ability to follow sanitation SOPs and safety guidelines
  • physically able to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 30 pounds
  • flexible to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • attention to detail
  • strong organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years experience in cleaning, housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial work

Job Duties

  • Follow established rules of the facility for entry to building and work areas, properly attired and in compliance with HACCP guidelines for personal hygiene and observe security precautions as mandated by facility management
  • comply with company implemented sanitation Standard Operating Procedures including the company’s HACCP Plan and Good Manufacturing Practices which maintains the company’s compliance with USDA regulations
  • clean and sanitize all interior areas within the facility and external property
  • handle the disposal of all waste products with international trash and garbage disposed of according to regulations
  • ensure that spills are promptly mopped up and floors are kept dry to minimize slips and falls
  • use proper detergents and degreasing solvents to maintain a safe working environment for all production areas and maintain use and proper storage of sanitation chemicals and equipment
  • sanitize all restrooms and areas of common personnel traffic including walls and floors
  • empty and clean refuse containers and dispose of refuse in proper bins for later removal
  • perform other duties as assigned by unit Supervisors
