Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or general maintenance favorable
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Capability to perform continuous physical activity including standing, walking, bending, stooping, crawling, and climbing stairs
- Ability to work with both hands for frequent grasping and manipulation
- Ability to push or pull items and reach overhead
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle onsite if applicable
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to work Monday to Friday with possible overtime and extended hours
- Must be able to work onsite at Rockledge Apartments in Marietta, GA
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous knowledge of grounds maintenance, landscaping or general maintenance and janitorial experience is a plus
- Working knowledge of basic interior and exterior maintenance, hand tools and cleaning equipment
- Basic knowledge of building maintenance and repair is a plus
- Basic computer skills and knowledge required to perform job functions
Job Duties
- Maintain the condition of exterior grounds and common areas of the property
- Assist with trash outs after move-outs
- Maintain cleanliness of trash chutes, trash compactors, landscaping, parking lots, sidewalks, driveways, buildings and gutters
- Organize and clean work areas and maintenance shops
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining the pool and surrounding area
- Post notices to vacate and other community communications if applicable
- Perform other duties as assigned
