Job Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
ability to perform basic repairs and operate maintenance tools and equipment
proficiency in using large industrial cleaning equipment including buffing machines and vacuums
ability to stand for prolonged periods
physical capability to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds
flexible schedule with willingness to work additional hours
service-oriented attitude with strong work ethic
understanding of safety hazards and proper use of cleaning solutions
good interpersonal communication skills
motivated self-starter

Job Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED
good interpersonal skills with polite demeanor toward staff, customers, clients and visitors
ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance
proficiency using large industrial cleaning equipment including buffing machines and industrial vacuums
thorough understanding of safety hazards and proper use of cleaning and sanitizing solutions
highly motivated service-oriented self-starter with strong work ethic
flexible and willing to work all shifts or hours as needed

Job Duties

Daily interior cleanliness of buildings including spills cleanup, window and window covering cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping, floor stripping, waxing and buffing
daily trash handling and removal including emptying compactors, breaking down cardboard boxes, bringing trash and recyclables curbside for sanitation pick-up
preparing vacant units for occupancy by removing all items left behind and leaving units broom-swept
performing exterior building and premises cleaning including walls, parking lots, walkways, gardens, outdoor furnishings, curbs, gutters, hallways, and stairwells
light maintenance such as replacing light bulbs, air filters, blinds and shades as directed
placing mats and runners during inclement weather and assisting with snow removal and storm preparations
reporting unsafe conditions, unlocked doors in restricted areas, and potential security breaches to manager or supervisor
