Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 4 years cashier experience preferred
- Proficient with POS systems and computer operations
- Strong cash handling abilities
- Experience in merchandising and stock rotation
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
Job Qualifications
- 4+ years of cashier experience preferred
- Knowledge of computer and point-of-sale systems required
- Cash handling skills required
- Experience with register audits and safe counting preferred
- Merchandising and stocking experience required
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays
Job Duties
- Serve customers courteously, quickly and efficiently on point-of-sale register
- Maintain clean, well-stocked food and beverage areas
- Order, receive and unload product
- Stock, organize and rotate merchandise on planograms
- Perform cycle counts ensuring inventory accuracy
- Conduct end-of-day reporting including register audits and safe counts
- Assist with creating and managing team schedules
- Train lower-level cashiers on duties and responsibilities
- Prioritize work according to store and management needs
- Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe situations
- Establish communication and rapport with leaders and co-workers
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
