Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience as Associate Manager or 2 years as First Assistant Manager (internal)
- Minimum 3 years experience managing a full P&L service concept (external)
- Completion of Restaurant Manager training classes
- ServSafe certified
- Ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform basic math
- Valid driver's license and insurance
- Ability to use personal vehicle for work duties
- Ability to stand and walk 85-95% of shift
- Ability to lift 10-65 lbs
- Ability to operate restaurant equipment and computer
- Ability to drive a motor vehicle
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required
- Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience as Associate Manager or 2 years as First Assistant Manager for internal candidates
- Minimum 3 years experience managing a service concept with full P&L responsibility for external candidates
- Must complete Restaurant Manager training
- ServSafe certification required
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform basic math operations
- Strong analytical, organization, and planning skills
- Proficient with personal computers and software
- Valid driver's license and insurance
- Ability to travel as required
- Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior
Job Duties
- Recruits, selects, trains, develops, and evaluates restaurant employees
- Monitors staffing levels to ensure development and talent
- Ensures training systems are implemented and followed
- Identifies and develops internal candidates for leadership
- Creates an employee-friendly, safe, and fun environment
- Motivates and inspires employees
- Complies with labor laws and company policies
- Manages daily restaurant operations for excellent performance
- Ensures guest service and food quality meet brand standards
- Responds to guest concerns timely and professionally
- Maintains restaurant cleanliness and brand image
- Utilizes management tools to analyze financial and operational performance
- Implements action plans based on business data
- Monitors costs and adheres to budget
- Protects the Popeye's brand through sound decisions
- Adjusts to changing priorities and manages multiple demands
- Makes high-quality business decisions independently
- Delegates work and follows up systematically
- Performs additional duties as assigned
