The Server role at Life Time offers an exciting opportunity to be a vital part of the dining experience for members. The selected individual will provide exceptional customer service by presenting menus, taking and delivering accurate food and drink orders, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Servers at Life Time are expected to have a good understanding of the LifeCafe and Bistro offerings enabling them to competently answer members’ questions and make informed recommendations. This role involves engaging with members at the pool deck service stations and ensuring timely and accurate service. They will also handle bill calculations and process payments accurately. The position demands outstanding communication skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment requiring movement, standing, and repetitive lifting. Training certifications like ServSafe and CPR/AED are required within the first three months and first month of hire respectively, ensuring safety and health standards are maintained. Job Requirements
- 1+ year of experience working in a restaurant with a fast casual or full service experience
- ServSafe certification required within the first 90 days of hire
- CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
- ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs
- ability to work in a stationary position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods of time
