Job Description
Regent Santa Monica Beach, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts’ prestigious luxury and lifestyle portfolio, sets a new standard in indulgence and guest experience. This exquisite resort offers 167 opulent guest rooms and suites, each thoughtfully designed with a generous 720 square feet of space. Guests enjoy spa-like bathrooms equipped with soaking tubs, walk-in rain showers, double vanities, and premium Perricone MD products, capturing the essence of luxury and comfort. The resort's location along the coveted coastline provides breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, making it a premier destination where timeless elegance meets modern luxury. Beyond its beautiful accommodation, Regent Santa Monica Beach is renowned for its unique culinary experiences featuring four distinct dining destinations. Notably, Orla and Orla Bar, crafted by James Beard Award-winning chef Michael Mina, bring Mediterranean flavors to Southern California. The poolside Azure Bar offers elevated dining and creative cocktails, while Sweet July Café, a collaboration with Ayesha Curry, presents curated coffee, tea, and exclusive menu items.
The resort also boasts a 10,000-square-foot Guerlain Wellness spa, an outdoor pool known as the Azure Pool, The Regent Boutique, and a state-of-the-art fitness center. The opening of Regent Santa Monica Beach marks a significant return of the Regent brand to Los Angeles and stands as the Americas flagship, underscoring the brand’s commitment to providing legendary experiences and unparalleled hospitality.
As a Seasonal Pool Server at Regent Santa Monica Beach, you will play a crucial role in upholding the resort’s luxury standards by delivering exceptional service to guests enjoying the poolside environment. This position is key to enhancing guests’ experiences by assisting with beverage service, taking accurate orders, explaining menu items knowledgeably, and supporting the bartending team with ice and restocking duties. Additionally, you will coordinate with the kitchen to ensure food orders are precise and timely. Your responsibilities will extend to greeting and seating guests, maintaining pool area cleanliness and organization, and adjusting chaise loungers and umbrellas to guest preferences. Emphasizing teamwork, clear communication, and a strong hospitality ethic, you will contribute significantly to the resort's reputation for Forbes five-star service. Reporting directly to the Outlets Manager, your role will be dynamic and varied, requiring a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays. With an hourly pay range of $17.00 to $18.90 plus tips, you will be part of a dedicated team that values service excellence and guest satisfaction in one of the most scenic coastal settings in Southern California.
