The Pool Server - On Call role at Grand Hyatt Indian Wells is an integral part of the Food and Beverage team, responsible for enhancing guest experiences around the pool area. This position is hourly, with a pay rate of $17.00 and the opportunity to earn additional income through tips. Pool Servers must learn the menu thoroughly and be able to offer informed recommendations on food and beverage selections to guests. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential as the role involves engaging guests in friendly, casual conversation while delivering attentive and personalized service. The Pool Server is expected to maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions in their work area and assist with general server preparations. This role involves physical endurance and comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions. The position demands professionalism, service-mindedness, and a keen attention to detail to contribute to the luxurious ambiance of the resort experience. Job Requirements

  • Riverside County Food handler's License
  • Ability to satisfy needs of others in a fast paced environment
  • Verbal communication skills
  • Physical stamina to lift moderate weight and walk long distances
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Previous experience preferred
