Job Duties
- Greet and serve guests in an energetic and friendly fashion
- daily set up and tear down of daily greeting/monitoring area
- build relationships with guests by answering menu questions and making food and beverage suggestions from menus
- take food and beverage orders and give food order to the kitchen
- prepare beverages including coffee drinks and smoothies following standard recipes and presentation techniques
- serve food and beverages to guests at their tables indoors or outdoors on the patio and pool area
- enforce pool rules and prohibit any violations in a friendly manner
- handle cash and card transactions ensuring charges are accurate and return correct change to guests
- maintain a safe and healthy work environment by keeping the work area clean and organized, following all sanitation standards
- keep equipment clean and safely operating by following operating instructions, troubleshoot breakdowns, and perform preventative maintenance if requested
- report needed equipment repairs to a supervisor
- notice and report potential safety issues or customer concerns to a supervisor
- have a working knowledge of the resort facility to encourage guests to explore other services
- perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
