This full-time, seasonal Food and Beverage Server position offers an hourly wage of $17.75 plus tips, providing an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about delivering memorable dining experiences. As a server at the Coronado Island Marriott Resort & Spa, you will be an essential part of a dedicated team committed to hospitality excellence. Your role is crucial in ensuring guests feel welcomed and enjoy impeccable service from the moment they enter the restaurant until their dining experience concludes.

In this role, you will greet guests warmly, efficiently attend to their tables, and serve food and beverages while offering knowledgeable menu recommendations. Familiarity with the MICROS point-of-sale system will be important for accurately registering guest transactions. Additionally, your attentiveness will ensure each guest’s satisfaction with their meal and drinks. Beyond service, you will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and presentable dining environment, including clearing and resetting tables and replenishing supplies.

This position is ideal for candidates with at least one year of related work experience, strong conversational skills, and a positive, outgoing personality that thrives in a team-oriented environment. While prior server experience is advantageous, the company welcomes those new to hospitality who demonstrate enthusiasm and a dedication to excellent guest interactions.

Physical requirements include the ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds, as well as standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods. A professional appearance with a clean uniform is also expected.
