Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • have a current Food Handlers Card
  • possess an OLCC Servers Permit
  • ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail
  • excellent customer service skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • knowledge of alcohol safety policies

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • have a current Food Handlers Card
  • possess an OLCC Servers Permit
  • have proficient knowledge of liquor quality and cocktail preparation
  • demonstrate excellent guest service and communication skills
  • ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • teamwork and collaboration skills

Job Duties

  • Mix ingredients such as liquor, soda, water and sugar to prepare cocktails and other drinks
  • serve wine, draft or bottled beer and food to bar guests
  • follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and handling of an intoxicated guest
  • assist servers in bar knowledge such as proper glassware, correct garnish and cocktail ingredients
  • clean, sanitize, restock and store bar items according to procedures
  • greet guests, escort them to their seats and present menus and beverage lists
  • take orders from guests for food and/or beverage items
  • check identification to ensure minimum age requirements for alcohol consumption
  • enter orders and modifications into the POS system quickly and accurately
  • maintain table appearance by pre-bussing, checking drink levels and removing clutter
  • prepare and present checks
  • collect payments on checks by having a check signed or processing credit cards
  • provide continuous and timely service until guests leave the premises
  • support food and beverage teams by providing assistance in various areas to ensure smooth operations
