Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work a flexible schedule
- good swimming abilities
- first aid and CPR certifications are preferred
- ability to stand, walk, talk and hear regularly
- ability to use hands to finger, handle, feel and reach frequently
- ability to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste and smell occasionally
- ability to lift and/or move 30 pounds
- specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- maintain the pool area according to the quality standards of the Hyatt Centric
- ensure cleanliness and readiness of entire pool area
- greet all guests as they arrive at the poolside area
- escort them to the desired lounges and/or table
- empty trash as needed
- offer and sell food and beverage items through Pool Bar to guests as needed
- open towels and provide guests with water
- address and resolve all customer issues in an efficient and effective manner
- ensure all equipment is clean and in proper working condition
- report all deficiencies to the appropriate manager
- follow lost and found procedures in an efficient a timely manner
- responsible for the achievement of departmental objectives and goals
- maintain open communication with other departments
- attend meetings as necessary
- promote teamwork, employee motivation, and morale
- remain mindful of energy conservation
- follow all safety and security regulations
- maintain the confidentiality of the Hyatt Centric and its guests
- at all times, adhere to the policies and procedures of the Hyatt Centric
- any other assigned tasks or duties as required
- uphold Hyatt Centric’s commitment to superior service and hospitality
