The Pool Server role at Four Seasons Residence Club Aviara is integral to maintaining the high standards of guest service that Four Seasons is renowned for. This position involves preparing and managing poolside seating areas, delivering excellent food and beverage service, and ensuring that guests' needs are anticipated and met efficiently. Pool Servers are expected to be knowledgeable about menu offerings and beverages, capable of communicating order details accurately to kitchen staff, and adept at multitasking to maintain a seamless guest experience. Safety and responsiveness in emergency situations are also critical responsibilities, alongside supporting various operational tasks to ensure the overall excellence of service.

This part-time role offers competitive compensation starting at $17.60 per hour during the peak months and $20 per hour during the off-peak months. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • valid California Driver's License
  • ability to lift up to 40lbs
  • previous food and beverage experience preferred
  • San Diego County Food Handlers card (not required upon hire)
  • Responsible Beverage Service certification

Job Duties

  • Conduct all opening and closing procedures
  • wipe down, set up and move all pool deck equipment, when necessary
  • pick up, stock/restock, and drop off towels, juices, fruits, and other items or amenities needed in the area
  • assist owners and guests with seating, towels, amenities and food and beverage service
  • describe the selection of menu items to guests with vivid descriptions
  • communicate guest orders including any special needs to the kitchen
  • coordinate food timings
  • check completed kitchen orders with the guest's original order
  • transport items to the guest in a timely manner
  • respond properly in any Residence Club emergency or safety situation
  • perform other tasks or projects as assigned
