Known for its exceptional guest services, elegant accommodations, and outstanding hospitality standards, Omni Hotels & Resorts offers guests an upscale experience with attention to detail and the comfort of home. The company is committed to providing superior guest experiences through dedicated service professionals who are motivated to maintain high quality standards and ensure customer satisfaction.
Within the hospitality industry, the role of a Pool Beverage Server plays a vital part in delivering an exceptional outdoor dining and beverage service experience at the hotel’s pool areas. This position involves providing efficient and friendly customer service while maintaining a clean, orderly, and top-quality poolside service environment. The Pool Beverage Server is responsible for the setup and upkeep of the pool service area, taking food and drink orders, managing transactions using the Micros point-of-sale system, and delivering orders promptly to guests lounging or enjoying the pool facilities.
The Pool Beverage Server is also expected to perform guest services following the established Moments of Service guidelines, which ensure that guests receive personalized and attentive interactions. This position requires engagement with guests by regularly checking in to confirm satisfaction and offering assistance with any requests, including guidance in locating other areas of the hotel. Maintaining a clean, stocked, and well-organized service area throughout each shift is essential to uphold the hotel's standards for hygiene and presentation.
Additionally, this role involves collaboration with bartenders when necessary, adherence to cash handling procedures, and protection of the hotel against liability issues, such as over-serving alcoholic beverages. The Pool Beverage Server must comply with all company policies, including maintaining a professional appearance, confidentiality of proprietary information, and participation in safety and security protocols. Attendance at designated staff meetings and training sessions is also required to stay current with hospitality best practices and safety certifications.
Candidates for this position should be comfortable working in a fast-paced luxury hotel environment, both indoors at the bar and outdoors at the pool area. Flexibility in schedule is critical, as the position requires availability during weekends and holidays. The company seeks candidates who live within a reasonable commuting distance, emphasizing a strong commitment to the role and the ability to thrive in a dynamic service environment.
Omni Hotels & Resorts is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to diversity and inclusion, actively supporting veterans, individuals with disabilities, and all protected groups. The organization provides support for applicants needing assistance during the hiring process, reinforcing its commitment to accessible employment opportunities.
This role provides an excellent opportunity for hospitality professionals with prior serving experience to grow their career within a prestigious hotel brand that values excellence and guest satisfaction. The Pool Beverage Server contributes to the overall guest experience by ensuring timely, courteous, and high-quality service that enhances the hotel's reputation as a prime destination for leisure and luxury.
