Job Requirements
- Ability to work from May through September
- Ability to work outdoors
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to calculate accurate bills and handle credit card and cash transactions properly
Job Qualifications
- One year of experience in a similar or supportive role preferred
- Valid CA Food Handler and RBS Alcohol Certifications required
- Ability to learn and present product, menu, and allergy information
- Knowledge of restaurant POS systems or ability to learn
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Passion for creating personalized guest experiences
- Highly motivated and flexible with initiative
- Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
Job Duties
- Greet and welcome guests
- Provide knowledge about the area and menu information
- Ensure fair and consistent seating of guests
- Deliver food promptly and at proper temperature
- Clean and set pool lounge areas to standard
- Deposit dishes appropriately
- Stock bussing stations
- Maintain product knowledge of food, wine, and beverages
- Maintain hospitality service standards
- Clean workstations and sweep floors
- Empty trash regularly
- Perform setup and breakdown of the bar
- Fill and clean ice bins
- Stock beverages including beer, wine, and juice
- Clean bar equipment and shelving
- Unpack deliveries and change beer kegs
- Communicate effectively with staff and management
