The part-time Pool Greeter/Monitor role at Trilogy at The Vineyards plays a pivotal part in maintaining the welcoming and secure environment of the outdoor pool area for its members and guests. This position provides essential customer service by greeting guests warmly, providing towel services, and ensuring adherence to pool policies to safeguard everyone’s safety and enjoyment. Reporting directly to the Pool Supervisor or Director of Food & Beverage, the Pool Greeter/Monitor is integral in delivering the "Trilogy Experience," which is grounded in the BlueStar core values of honesty, integrity, respect for the individual, teamwork, and competitive spirit. The role involves setup and breakdown of the greeting area each day, monitoring pool access to ensure only authorized individuals use the facilities, and addressing any inappropriate behavior promptly and positively. Additionally, the Pool Greeter/Monitor helps support food and beverage services by assisting café servers and responding to member inquiries about facility services and programs, encouraging participation in the club’s dining, spa, and fitness offerings.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
One to three months of related experience preferred
Must possess current Food Handlers Card as required by Club
Current First Aid, CPR/AED certification and other safety certifications
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memorandums
Ability to communicate positively and effectively with team members and supervisors
Desire to contribute to productive work environment with positive attitude
Must be self-motivated, follow direction and work independently
Must demonstrate initiative, problem-solving and sound judgment
Must have good time management and organizational skills
Must consistently achieve high work standards with attention to detail

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Ensure the Trilogy Experience for members and guests by maintaining standards and adhering to policies
Set up and tear down daily greeting and monitoring area
Help ensure the pool area is accessed only by authorized individuals and is safe and secure
Greet members and guests in a friendly manner and provide towel services
Monitor and enforce outdoor pool policies and prohibit violations positively
Report any unsafe or inappropriate situations to a supervisor
Make suggestions regarding food and beverage service and assist café server with orders
Respond to member and guest questions, requests, and concerns
Become knowledgeable about facility services and programs to encourage dining and participation
Perform other duties as assigned
