Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
prior experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
strong interpersonal skills
physical ability to perform job duties including lifting up to 50 pounds
flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
willingness to work outdoors in hot weather
proactive and attentive attitude
basic knowledge of hotel services and guest amenities

able to work with management on special projects
able to work in a fast paced environment
able to work outside in sunny and hot weather
maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance
able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
able to move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
able to stand or walk for extended periods or entire shifts
able to perform repetitive motions

Job Duties

Assist with pool side services including sunglass cleaning and towel service
be fully acquainted with different points of interest
assist in arranging restaurant reservations and limousine services
promote and arrange hotel services during guest stay
assist guests with booking dinner and spa reservations and other hotel offerings
speak with guests in a friendly, warm manner
proactively seek ways to improve the hotel experience
ensure the pool area is serviced throughout the day
assist guests with needs and communicate with corresponding departments
complete any special projects assigned
stock pool towels in storage and pool chairs
supply scented towels in hot weather
ensure pool chairs and furniture are properly staged
maintain pool towel inventory by washing, folding, and storing as needed
report maintenance issues to appropriate departments
