Our prestigious outdoor pool facility is dedicated to providing a luxurious and relaxing environment for members and guests, ensuring an exceptional poolside experience throughout the busy summer season. Known for its welcoming and attentive atmosphere, our club prides itself on maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized pool area that caters to the needs of every visitor. The facility features amenities such as cabanas, lounge chairs, umbrellas, and towel service designed to enhance comfort and convenience. As a seasonal operation running from June 2 through September 7, 2026, the club focuses on delivering high-quality hospitality and recreational services during the peak summer months, fostering a community-centered environment where members feel valued and cared for.

The Pool Concierge plays a vital role in the seamless operation of our outdoor pool setting by delivering exceptional customer service to all members and guests. This role is crucial in facilitating a smooth and enjoyable experience, beginning with a warm greeting upon arrival and extending through assistance with seating arrangements, towel distribution, and special member requests. The Pool Concierge must be highly visible and approachable, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times while monitoring the pool environment to uphold cleanliness, safety, and compliance with club policies.

In addition to direct guest interaction, the Pool Concierge supports the operational aspects of the pool area, including setting up lounge chairs and umbrellas, managing cabana reservations, and maintaining the overall tidiness of the pool deck. Effective communication skills are essential as the Concierge provides information about pool rules, daily activities, and other club amenities. This role requires the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, outdoor environment, often under varied weather conditions. Physical stamina is necessary to stand, walk, and move throughout the pool deck for extended periods, while also lifting and carrying equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.

Holding a valid Food Handler certification is mandatory within the first 30 days of employment, ensuring that all health and safety regulations concerning food and beverage handling are met. Flexibility is key, as the position demands availability during nights, weekends, and holidays to accommodate the club's operating schedule. A background check and drug screening will be conducted to ensure the safety and integrity of all staff members.

Job Qualifications

  • Prior hospitality, pool, or service experience preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the pool deck for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
  • Valid Food Handler certification required within 30 days of hire date

Job Duties

  • Greet members and guests upon arrival and provide welcoming poolside experience
  • Assist members with cabana reservations, seating, lounge chair setup, and umbrella placement
  • Distribute and collect pool towels in accordance with club procedures
  • Assist members with special requests such as sunscreen, water, and reading materials
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool deck including straightening chairs, tables, and umbrellas
  • Monitor the pool area for trash and debris and assist with maintaining a clean environment
  • Provide information to members regarding pool rules, amenities, and daily activities
  • Enforce pool safety and club policies in a polite and professional manner
  • Provide information about club amenities, events, and services
  • Assist with opening and closing duties of the pool area
  • Address member concerns or requests promptly and escalate issues to leadership as needed
  • Other job duties as assigned
