The Pool Concierge role at Life Time is a dynamic and customer-centric position focused on delivering the highest quality service to members and guests accessing the outdoor pool area. This role is integral to the member experience, ensuring that guests are warmly greeted, memberships and guest passes are accurately validated, and pool area standards are maintained. The Pool Concierge supports a welcoming and safe environment by assisting with entry procedures, distributing wristbands to junior members and guests, providing towels, and maintaining the cleanliness of the pool deck and surrounding areas.

In addition to these member-facing responsibilities, the Pool Concierge must be knowledgeable about Life Time products and services to respond efficiently and accurately to member inquiries. This position requires a combination of excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in an outdoor setting, especially during the summer months. Candidates typically need to stand for extended periods and engage with a variety of members and guests to ensure everyone enjoys a seamless and enjoyable pool experience.

Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • CPR and First Aid certified
  • Minimum of 6 months customer service experience
  • Ability to stand for minimum of 4 hours at a time
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to proficiently use a computer and tablet
  • Ability to work outside in the summer months for minimum of 4 hours at a time

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • CPR and First Aid certified
  • Minimum of 6 months customer service experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of computers and tablets
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to work outside for extended hours during summer
  • Minimum of 6 months reception experience preferred
  • Lifeguard certifications preferred within 60 days of hire

Job Duties

  • Greets and admits members and guests into the outdoor pool, validates member and guest access through Pool Memberships and Guest Passports
  • Completes various Pool Deck duties such as providing wristbands for junior members and guests, handing out towels, and basic upkeep of the space
  • Proactively meets the needs of members and answers questions accurately
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of the pool deck area
  • Utilizes computer and tablet technology proficiently for member check-in and record keeping
  • Ensures compliance with all safety and operational protocols
  • Communicates effectively with team members and management to provide a seamless member experience
