The company is currently seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Lounge Bartender to join their team in a seasonal part-time capacity. Responsibilities include the efficient setup and breakdown of the bar, precise preparation of cocktails using standard measurements, accurate order taking from guests and servers, and strict adherence to check handling procedures and credit card policies to maintain operational integrity and security. This role also involves maintaining cleanliness and organization by restocking supplies, replenishing ice, checking glassware, ensuring refrigeration of stored fruit and juices, and managing inventory rotation for sodas and juices. The lounge bartender's duties additionally encompass the responsibility for beer stock in bottles and kegs and thorough cleaning of the workspace including trash disposal and steam-cleaning sanitation practices. This position demands a keen eye for detail, the ability to multitask, and a dedication to providing an outstanding guest experience in a fast-paced environment. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
  • Must comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions

Job Qualifications

  • Previous bartending or beverage service experience preferred
  • Knowledge of cocktail preparation and beverage standards
  • Ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately

Job Duties

  • Set up bar
  • Break down bar, lock up liquor, and store fruit and juices properly
  • Accept drink orders from guests/servers in proper calling order
  • Make cocktails in accordance Beverage Standards using standard jigger
  • Follow all check handling procedures, including all credit card policies and procedures
  • Complete all opening and closing duties as listed on the checklist
  • Check and replace glassware where needed
  • Stock and replenish ice at all ice stations
  • Clean floors in area of responsibility at the end of each shift
  • Empty and steam-clean trashcans at the end of each shift or as necessary
  • Be responsible for the inventory of the soda and juices and their rotation of stock
  • Stock and replenish beer in bottles and kegs when necessary
