Job Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen years old
- must hold county specific food handlers certification
- must hold state specific alcohol certification or TIPs certification
- must have two years of customer service experience preferably in hospitality or food and beverage
- must be flexible to work evenings weekends and holidays
- must be able to maintain a neat clean and well-groomed appearance
- must be able to work seasonally from March through September
Job Qualifications
- Two years previous experience providing customer service preferably in a similar setting with knowledge of spirits wine beer and food service
- flexible to work varied shifts including weekday evenings weekends and holidays
- friendly with ability to deliver a fun and friendly environment during guest exchange
- energetic to work within an empowered and fast paced environment servicing bar and restaurant servers
- county specific food handlers certification state specific alcohol or TIPs certification required
- people person who can multi-task ensuring accuracy in service
- eighteen years or older
- able to work seasonally from March through September
Job Duties
- Retrieves orders from storeroom
- visually checks stock received against written requisition with storeroom personnel to ensure order is accurate
- re-checks items with bartender for completeness upon delivery
- cuts slices and peels perishable garnishes and fruits
- mixes and pours juices according to projected business
- stores back-up supplies needing refrigeration in prescribed containers
- checks and assists bartender in maintaining adequate amounts of supplies such as stir sticks napkins matches etc
- maintains cleanliness of bar area beer lockers refrigeration and storage areas to comply with health code standards
- scoops ice from ice bins transports to service areas and replenishes ice containers
- boxes and saves empty liquor bottles for later returns and requisitions
- transports taps replaces and performs routine maintenance on heavy beer kegs
- adheres to all company policies and procedures
- follows safety and security procedures and rules
- knows department fire prevention and emergency procedures
- utilizes protective equipment
- reports unsafe conditions to supervisor or manager
- reports accidents injuries near-misses property damage or loss to supervisor or manager
- provides for a safe work environment by following all safety and security procedures and rules
- maintains a neat clean and well-groomed appearance as per team member handbook
- performs any related duties as requested by supervisor or manager
- assists other department personnel when needed
