This role is a full-time, non-management position primarily focused on welcoming and seating guests in the dining areas of the hotel. As a Host/Hostess at The Ritz-Carlton Dallas Las Colinas, your responsibility is to provide the first impression of the hotel's food and beverage service, ensuring every guest is greeted warmly and seated efficiently. You will be the guide to guests throughout their dining experience, assisting with seating arrangements including organizing tables and chairs for groups with special needs. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance
- Willingness to follow all safety and security policies and procedures
- Ability to maintain clean and professional personal appearance
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally

Job Duties
- Greet guests and determine the number in their party
- Seat guests by finding a clean, available table, pulling out chairs, placing clean/current menus in front of guest
- Guide guests through the dining rooms and provide any needed assistance
- Move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings for groups with special needs
- Ensure place settings are appropriate with napkin, clean silverware, and other standard items
- Check menus to ensure they are current, clean, plentiful, and wrinkle-free
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, following clean-as-you-go procedures
- Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest wellbeing
- Follow company safety and security policies and report any accidents or unsafe conditions
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
- Speak clearly and professionally and answer telephones using proper etiquette
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships and support team goals
- Listen and respond appropriately to concerns of other employees
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
