The Pool Attendant role at Caesars Entertainment is a critical position within the hospitality team, primarily focused on maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming pool environment for guests. This role demands attention to detail, proactive service, and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision. The Pool Attendant is responsible for greeting guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring the pool area and surrounding facilities are immaculate, and managing poolside amenities such as towels and trash receptacles. Additional duties include maintaining the pool restrooms, cleaning the adjacent lounge areas, and acting as a vigilant presence to identify potential safety concerns, calling security if emergencies arise. This role requires physical stamina to work in outdoor conditions involving exposure to heat and direct sunlight, as well as the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Ideal candidates for this position will possess strong guest service skills, a well-groomed appearance, and the ability to communicate effectively in English. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • previous experience preferred
  • CPR training preferred
  • ability to maneuver around the pool area easily
  • ability to swim preferred
  • must be able to work in extreme heat and direct sunlight for long periods of time
  • must be able to stand and walk for entire shifts
  • must be able to work at a fast pace efficiently
  • must be able to respond to visual, olfactory and aural cues
  • must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations
  • must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays

Job Duties

  • Greet and meet guests at the pool area within 10 seconds
  • maintain a neat and clean work area by arranging pool furniture, picking up used towels, stocking clean towels, emptying trash cans and ash urns, cleaning the pool and pool deck of debris
  • maintain pool restrooms and refill supplies such as paper products, trash bags, and soaps
  • detail clean the Corkscrews Lounge
  • sweep and wash the pool deck
  • complete work assignments with little direct supervision
  • call security in case of emergency situations
